Making video games is my passion. I love working with 3D graphics and OpenGL.
I got started programming 20 years ago on an old Macintosh 512KE like this one...
The monochrome screen was still amazing at the time. This computer didn't even have a hard drive. It came with 2 floppy disk drives, one for the operating system (Finder 6.2) and one for apps.
One of the apps was Microsoft QuickBasic. I was fascinated with it. It was amazing to me that I could control the computer with cryptic commands.
By typing things in a certain way I could make the computer do things like display graphics on the screen, copy files, even dial a number on the telephone. One thing led to another and before I knew it
I was creating abstract designs and mezmerizing screensavers.
I continued learning those commands until I outgrew QuickBasic and moved on to Power BASIC, Visual BASIC, and eventually... C and C++.
Now I make immersive games with rich environments and beautiful graphics. Download my sample gamepack and see for yourself. |
